CONSUMER DRIVEN
My journey began at approximately age 17. I was driving down the main aisle in a parking lot when another teenager backed out and hit my car. He admitted fault and his dad offered to pay for the repairs. Well, that was the first time I filed a lawsuit. The offer to repair my car later turned into a bunch of broken promises, and since the parking lot was considered private property, filing suit was my only means of recourse. We eventually went to court and Judgment was rendered in my favor. That began my experience with writing demand letters.

In the years that followed, I successfully filed claims against two different employers for unpaid wages, sought damages from an apartment complex for failure to make repairs, and settled an insurance claim for an auto accident. In addition, I have written countless letters to address poor shopping/dining experiences, auto repair issues, as wells as letters for credit related issues.

Through all of my endeavors, I have always pushed until I could get what I thought were fair results. But what happens to the consumer who just does not have the energy, the knowledge, or resources to keep pushing? Each of the experiences listed above came at different intervals in my life and were unexpected and new to me. However, the words of a friend helped me to go against the grain. She said, “treat it like a special project and don’t let it consume your life.”

I founded this business so that I could share my talents with you. I have a wide range of employment experiences from customer service to underwriting insurance, but what brings me the most satisfaction and a true sense of accomplishment is resolving consumer related issues.*
